I was planning on getting her some flowers and a card, and we're going out to dinner. But I'm just not sure if I should ask her out that night. We both like each other, that's no question. Would it be too cheesy to ask her out that night, or is it the right time??

I say go for the gusto.What a better day than valentines day to ask someone out.Especially if your situation is the same feelings for you and her,To really do it nice get her a box of candy and a card and then ask her out.If you go out to dinner than keep the candy and card for after dinner and then give it to her.By thinking this over the answer in your head is no so if she says no you donot lose anything.As far as cheesy absolutely not It is so nice to have gentlemen in this world today.

Don't go overboard with the loveydovey stuff. (eg. 3 dozen roses, pricey French restaurant & expensive outfits)
RATHER, plan a fun, creative adventure. Bringing her to a carnival is one idea, just something really active and action-packed will make it casual yet romantic. Win her a teddy, put a daisy in her hair, buy her a puppy if she likes dogs (or a kitten if she likes cats..)

Um, don't be dumb boy. Ask her out. If she says no to valentines day, than whats the point of even dating? Thats the dating day! JUST ASK HER!

Of course you should ask her. I've got a guy I just started dating last week and he asked what I wanted to do for V Day. Since you're seeing someone it would be a big mistake to not ask.
