Support services for young people in this country are little short of scandalous. I hope you find a group near to you.

Wow. I am impressed with all the support groups available. I use yahoo answers as my support group. I like to read of others challenges and achievements. I particularly like the comments from the students. My kids are pretty isolated where we are. There is one little group with little kids in it that we don't go to very often. I am often plagued with mother guilt because we no longer have a support system in the area where we now live. My children only see other kids when we go to church. Sometimes I think I should send them to school just so they can see more children. Thank you all for your questions and comments, I check in a couple of times a day and find it very encouraging that there are others out there, especially moms who work and homeschool.

One forum I've found is http://www.crazyboards.org/forums/ however they are mainly american - but they are brilliant at offering advice and the chat room usually has someone in who can help.
Are you a member of any other forums? They often have a few members who suffer with depression, and if you post you may find that people can start supporting each other there.
Sorry I couldn't be any more help, wanted to wish you well. Keep fighting and staying positive, well done on taking the steps you need to to get better.

Maybe try online support groups and hopefully you'll find someone who has knowledge of something close by. Or maybe you'll get the support you need online without even having to leave the house.

Try a local YMCA or YWCA - also if there is a university nearby, they probably have a lot of information about local support groups, and may even offer some, as well as free counseling.
