She just had surgery so it's normal for her not to want to eat just yet. Long as she's drinking water, she should be fine. If your still concerned in a couple days, then call the vet.

Does she have and redness around the incision area? This would be a sign of infection and this could make the cat not eat. Is she drinking water, if not call or take her back to the vet. An animal recovering from surgery even on antibiotics is still susceptible to illness. Not eating is alright as long as she drinks. She just may not have an appetite yet. I can't wait to read your other responses, since I have 2 females cats getting spayed, a male kitten, and male puppy both getting neutered all today. It's been four years since I've had any new babies to be fixed. 3 of 4 of these animals were rescues, the dog just 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Call the vet as soon as you can. She might be not responding well to the medication. It is a familiar scene with mine, my cat "Katie" 5 years ago and she did not respond well to medication because it upsetted her stomach, and won't eat. Ask the vet for the different medication- gentle one for your cat. I am sorry about your cat, not feeling well. I hope she will be soon.

You should have a vet look at your cat so your cat won't die. If it was mine I would have had taken her in when I had first noticed something wrong because I wouldn't want my cat to die in any way what so ever.

This may not be abnormal since she just had surgery. Is she still drinking water? This is more of a concern that not eating food. Ask your vet and see what they say.

We just had our kitty fixed too. Our vet said to call her right away if there was any change in appetite. Something to consider.
