Potty Train Your Child In Less Than a Day--This needs to be a day where you do not have places to be and things to do.
What You Need:
A doll that wets
A potty chair
Big boy/girl underwear (instead of diapers)
Lots of liquids for your child and the doll to drink
Party supplies
**Note that the following instructions using liquids also apply to potty training for bowel movements.

Consider Before You Begin
Development: The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests waiting until 2 years of age to potty train.
Modeling: You can demonstrate or have the doll demonstrate the process of "going potty." I found that both demonstrations helped my kids.
Motivation: Find out who your child's superhero is. The hero will provide the motivation in this process.

Step 1: Teach a Doll That Wets
Your child will learn by teaching the doll how to go potty. Have your child name the doll and give it something to drink. Then walk the doll to the potty chair with your child. Pull the doll's "big kid" underwear down and watch the doll go potty together.

Step 2: Throw the Doll a Potty Party!
When the doll successfully goes potty, throw a potty party! Make it a big blowout with party hats, horns and celebrate. Give lots of attention to the doll so that your child understands that going potty is a good thing.
Let your child know that when he goes potty, he will have a potty party too. Not only that, your child gets to call his favorite superhero to report the good news!

Step 3: Get Rid of the Diapers
At the beginning of the process you placed underwear on your child's doll. Now it's time to take away the diapers and put underwear on your child.

Step 4: Drink Lots of Fluids
Give your child plenty of fluids to drink. The sooner he has to go potty, the sooner you can begin potty training.

Step 5: Ten Trips to Potty When Accident
Ask your child if he needs to go potty. Your child might say no and that's OK. Because you've given your child plenty of fluids, he will soon need to go.
If your child has an accident in his underwear, don't scold him. You want this to be a positive experience. Instead, take your child to the potty, pull his underwear down, and have your child sit down. Do this 10 times. This builds muscle memory and your child will eventually go.

Step 6: Let the Celebration Begin!
When your child successfully goes potty, throw him a potty party. Most importantly, your child can now call his favorite superhero and tell the hero about what he just did! Enlist the help of a friend or relative to play the hero and take the phone call.

When your child has an accident, simply take him/her to the bathroom ten times in a row as you did before. This will continue to build muscle memory. And don't forget to keep up the positive reinforcement.

Don't use pull ups unless you really have too. Put underwear on him so he can get use to the feeling of them. He will have accidents in them while you're training so keep that in mind.

Start taking him as soon as he wakes up every 15 minutes. When he goes in the potty congratulate him. After a day or two, gradually start increasing the minutes to 20 then 30 then 40 then 60.

Keep reminding him that he should use the potty instead of on himself and most of all watch and listen to him. They try to find ways to tell you they have to go. Watch his body movements.

Watch for when he has to do a #2. Start taking him to the potty and make him sit there for a while until he does something. Give him a book to read or look at. Stop laughing...it actually does work. LOL

It will be hard at first but within a few days or sooner, he will be telling you when he has to go.

Oh and when it's time for bed make sure he goes before he gets in the bed and also don't give him to much to drink before he goes to sleep. Make sure to take him as soon as he wakes up. Sometimes wake him up in the middle of the night and take him.

This worked for me with my little boy. It took about a week.

If the whole stickers and cherios thing doesnt work heres my tip it may sound cruel but it works in like 2 DAYS. I just did this with my son he is 3 1/2 but wouldnt use any of the above methods and used pull ups like diapers so heres what i did.

Buy plain white undies and cool undies like cars then tell him ok when you use the potty with no accidents you can wear these but for now they are plain. Then put the white ones on and when he has an accident make him help clean it up, have him rinse out his undies in the sink if he pissed them, and then make him sit in front of the dryer until the undies are dry. If he poops them then help him wash them and if you put them in the washer make him sit there while they wash and dry no toys or anything to play with just bare butt on cold floor. When he does use the toliet reward him with cool stickers and big stickers for when he poops in the toliet.
I did this with my son and it took 2 days 4 accidents and now he hasnt looked back still wears diapers/pullups to bed at night but thats another thing to work on so good luck

Stickers, cheerio in the potty, setting potty time every 45 min. or so, reminders, rewards and hope. It will happen eventually. Took 7 months with my first and 3 weeks with my last so remeber to be patient, He'll get there when he's ready.

For my son I drew a poster with roads on it. every time he had a success I put a car sticker on it. He loved "vrroom vrrooms" so he tried hard.

If you don't have some success after trying a while, I'd suggest letting it go for 2-3 months and then try again. You don't want it to get too negative or they won't particiapate.

when training at home strip the diapers ( no diapers )
just underwear
sometimes kids can show signs on their faces that they have to go
so u will have to keep an eye on them
but if u don't notice the signs
keep asking him about every half hour if he has to go potty

Place a cheerio in his potty and tell him to aim for it. Also, every time dad has to go, let him tag along to observe

you need to let him run around with NO bottoms on, no big boy undies, no pull ups,. no anthing, just the nude,, TRUST me, i let both my children run around butt naked and when they gotta go, they know after one mistake that they need to use that big white bowl... my kids were both potty trained by 24 months doing this method... most parents just think its crazy to let the run around naked, but really logically kids potty in their diapers because its there, and they are to busy to care to go to the bathroom, but when they are bottomless they have no other option. goo dluck.

I HAVE THE ANSWER!!!!
My son will be 3 in March. I have been trying off and on to potty train him since last April. He wasn't ready so I put it off for a while but my husband and I have been getting tired of changing dirty pull-ups so i've decided to give it another try. I CRACKED THE CODE! It finaly worked, I just had to wait for him and myself to be ready.
Pick a week when you don't have to go anywhere, STAY HOME! It will take that long cause you son needs to figure out the sensation. My son doesn't tell me he needs to go, I put him on the potty and tell him to wait for the pee pee to come out.
My son is like any other boy who likes cartoons so I put his portable potty on a towel in front of the tv and put on a video.
(I used a towel under the potty for spills, I had to change it just about everytime he went. Alot of laundry that week)

He watches alot of videos that week. But it was all worth it cause know he goes by himself. I still ask him every once in a while if he needs to go but he say's no everytime even if he needs to go. He sat and watched his video and peed in the potty. When he would get up and I knew that he wasn't done peeing I would tell him to sit on the potty and sometimes he said no and i would turn off th tv and then he sat back down on the potty so i would turn the tv back on. When he did go pee I went over board with happyness. We sang the potty song "Russel went pee pee on the potty, Russel went pee pee on the potty Horray!!!!" and we danced. He was so happy to see me happy that he wanted me to be happy again and again. I found that the same routine worked.
be prepared to have accidents but don't punish him for it just say "did you have an accident? Thats ok go sit on the potty and see if there's anymore pee pee that needs to come out."
OUR ROUTINE:
Pee pee on the potty
Then he got 2 chocolate chips and we dumped the pee in the BIG potty and he gets to flush the toilet and say's "bye bye pee pee" and washed our hands. then he got a sticker for washing his hands.

2 chocolated chips for pee
6 chocolate chips and a lolly pop for poo (cause it's special)
1 sticker for washing his hands.

The first couple of days give him alot of juice and milk, everytime he's finished his cup fill it up again. I did this with my son and he had to pee every 20min. That means the more he pee's the more times he get's that sensation and figures it out. I bought a timer at the dollar store to remind me it's been 20min and make sure he was sitting on the potty. I gave him alot for attention that week, lots of hugs and kiss and I told him "mommy is so happy, you make mommy so happy when you go pee on the potty, i'm so proud of you!" "Your a big boy now that you go pee on the potty" and we would call his aunt and tell her over the phone and she would respond with pure excitment. That made him happy!
My son was going pee by himself after the 6th day but don't get me wrong he still had many accidents but its a work in progress, and we are still working on going poo. And he wears a pull-up at night.
By the way we are on day 18. I hope this helps. A friend of mine used mini brownies as a treat and her son was trained in 2 days. I wish!!! but you never know it might work for you!
best of luck!!!
