But God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then,
having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from
the wrath of God through Him.
Romans (Chapter 5 Verses 8-9)
Thank You, Jesus, for you willingness
to surrender to your Father's will.
For if You had chosen to save yourself,
You could not have saved me. Amen.

You are correct: It's a load of old underpants and religious lies too!
Create a Private, Direct, Divine relationship with Our Creator and eliminate religious corruption, lies and "old underpants".
Jesus said, "religion is Spiritual fraud." and "religion is the Worse invention of humanity."
besides, Jesus Did Not die on the cross!
I'm proof! I am a desendent of Jesus.

Jesus Christ died to restore us to the living God, making a new covenant between God and man. Sorry you feel that way. Jesus is the way, truth and life.

The way I look at is this: If Jesus really did die on the cross for our sins, then who are we to render meaningless his sacrifice by not sinning? Works for me. I hope this helps.

Read the bible pal.
"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, EVEN TO THE WORDS OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, ....he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions ans strife of words, whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth....." I agree with those who requests respect for their beliefs. But I agree with your skepticism.
If someone I love steels my car, maybe I love them too much to see them in jail. So I serve their time instead. But then, why don't I say, "just forget it," and not press charges.
The crucifixion and Resurrection occurring for our sins, makes even less sense. If God wants to take us to heaven, he'll take us to heaven.

Everyone has the right of an own opinion, but you don't have to run around and insult religions. It doesn't make you funny or cool.
