There's no "parable of Samson." Samson was the last of the twelve (some count thirteen) Judges of Israel. He slew many of the Philistines, which were the enemies of Israel. Hey Sho-nuff, you've got a new avatar....again.

Jesus taught parables, which are stories that teach truths and morals.
Samson is a judge from the book of judges. The judges were temporary leaders that rose from the general population of Israel before the first king. [Saul]
Samson was God's superhero of the day to deliver Israel from the enemy of the Philistine people, who were oppressing and tyrannizing the Israelites at the time.

With out your mind, you must become a brute in order to survive.
God's greatest enemy is the mind of man. His followers have been attempting to kill it since it developed.
Problem is...
A new individual mind is being born every second. Most will enslave themselves to others while the few, the enemies of God, will be free to think and solve problems. Most of which religion creates. Which is why he is enemy #1!

Samson was made strong. Period. What he subsequently did to the Philistines was an outcome of his faith. Which ended when he gave it all to the philistine woman. When he returned to his calling, his faith returned, and so did his strength.

It is a message of obedience and following G-d's plan for your life. If Sampson had remained obedient he would not have been tortured but he let a lie keep him from G-d's promise to him and when he repented his arrogance G-d gave him what he asked for.

You missed it. It wasn't a parable, by the way.
