I would go out for a romantic dinner, but yes forget the movie, there is no romance there. Since u do live together, u need to create a romantic setting that u don't normally have. I would book a hotel room for the night, without the other person knowing anything about it. Go to the hotel earlier that day, check in, set the room up with candles and chill some champagne, and nice champagne glasses in the room, so the setting is just right when u do arrive there. Maybe go to a dinner/dance restaurant and request a special song that means something to the both of u. After dinner, just drive to the hotel without saying a word about it, it will be a great surprise. Make sure u pre-pack a little bag with toothbrushes, a change of clothes for the next day. This will show u put extra thought into the whole thing. I hope u have a wonderful evening that will be a great memory for both of u. Good luck
