An age of accountability (the concept that you are eluding to) is un-biblical and really is a result of "Decision Theology" from the modern centuries. It is predicated on a false belief that you must reach a certain level of conscious moral discernment before you are held accountable to God. The Concise Evangelical Dictionary of Theology (Baker, 1991) defines the "age of accountability" as follows: "The stage of life at which moral consciousness emerges and with it responsibility for conduct before God".
Now read Romans 1& 2 and try to reconcile this concept with the fact that God has written His Law on everyone's heart and in Creation so "so that men are without excuse."
The concept of an Age of Accountability also creates two Sotereological systems. One that requires Christ Attonning Sacrafice and another that does not.
King David indicates that at his birth he was sinful Psalm 51:5 (see also Ephesians 2:3), so we see that Children are sinful creatures from birth. Yet he also indicates his belief in and trust in God at such a young age Psalm 22:9 & Psalm 71:6, becaues of his sinful state, defies the concept of the Age of Accountability. We also see in Matthew 18:6, Mark 9:42, Luke 18:15-16 that children can believe in God.

Although there are many bad things that can happen to us right now, God has a plan to make everything right soon. At this present time (1 John 5:19b) "the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one."
1 John 2:15-17: "15 Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever."
2 Corinthians 4:3 & 4: "3 If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.'
Notice that it said "the god of this system of things". That is Satan. That is why everything is messed up right now. But God will not let things go on one more minute than is absolutely necessary for him to carry out his plan. Then the blessings to those who love God will flow abundantly!
John 17: 3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ"
No where does the Bible teach that babies go straight to heaven when they die. Check out this Scripture...
John 3:13: "Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man."
That was Jesus speaking to people in his day...after 29 CE, and before 33 CE. That was not quite 2000 years ago. What do you think happened to all of those faithful men before that?...Abraham, Moses, Noah, King David....just to name a few. Jesus just said that NO man had ascended into heaven accept for himself. Before his death and ascention, no one had the hope of life in heaven.
King Soloman was inspired to write the folllowing about the condition of the dead...
Ecclesiastes 9:5, and Ecclesiastes 3:19 & 20:
"For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."
"19 For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust."
King David wrote this by inspiration:
Psalm 146: 3 & 4: "Do not put YOUR trust in nobles,
Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs.
4 His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish."
This only barely scatches the surface, but it is a small sample of what the Bible really teaches about death, there is so much more that we have to look forward to...such as the following...
Psalm 37: 9-11, & 29: "9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.'
29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it."
Psalm 72:7 & 8: "I his days the righteous one will sprout,
And the abundance of peace until the moon is no more.
8 And he will have subjects from sea to sea
And from the River to the ends of the earth."
Revelation 21: 4: "4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

He gives us the power to overcome the bad stuff and the authority to wield it against Satan and his forces. We live this life as a proving ground of sorts. Why he sometimes takes babies, I cannot know. But those of us who do survive do so for a greater purpose if we believe and live the life. Read Revelation 1 : 6. In it, we're told that we would be as "kings and princes" with Him. Sounds like a lot to live up to, but then again, that's why we're tested.

In my opinion, *babies* as you put it, ARE TOO GOOD too have to endure this sinful world. One must be born of the Water and the Spirit. Each child that is born, is sent from God, and is innocent until the age of accountability. Unless you have done some serious study I do not expect you to understand this. The Soul from heaven MUST be born through Woman by the Water. If you would like anymore information about this please email me and I will be glad to help you. IT IS NOT Copy and Paste, it is from my studies and reading, (KJV Bible), so it will be based on Gods Word and NOTHING else.

it would not be more effective if all of us died at beginning. it is now problematical to get into Heaven. some toddlers or little ones get the "loose journey" to Heaven yet others ought to take the not ordinary journey which on the proper, to procure an rather good advantages. it is the idea of Heaven. in accordance to Islamic good judgment, you get counted on your good and undesirable deeds once you attain puberty. you're literally not completely attentive to what's round you, yet you're able to determining what's precise and what's incorrect. Muslims don't have self belief Jesus is God so it should be like asking a Christian "ought to a 5 year previous that would not understand of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and dies bypass to hell?"

babies and young children have a free pass, if you will, to heaven, because their young minds cannot comprehend the concept of God, heaven, hell, spirituality, and everything else tied to Christianity. if they have an unfortunate event cause their death, they go to heaven and then they will learn how lucky they are to be able to walk beside God without trying to navigate through life and understanding faith.

No where in my Bible does it say that ALL babies go to heaven. People like to think that. The Bible does say that we speak wickedly from our youth, which leads me to believe that we are born wicked. "Jacob I loved, Esau I hated" God said this while they were still in their mothers womb. I don't believe ALL babies go to heaven.

also, they will magically turn into 30-year olds as soon as they arrive and they will stay that way for eternity.
This planet, as I read our christian friends, is a giant test maze. It is to filter out the good christians. Or something insane like that.
