Tigerfly is right. Mango Lassi is a very popular Indian drink.

You use mango, non-fat plain yogurt, and some sugar if you wish. Blend together. YuM! (You can also add your own additions, like honey. I like to top mine off with a cherry)

If you only have milk and water... go with the milk (the drink should end up having a smoothie texture).

2 big mangos
1 liter of milk
sugar
1 spoon of vanilla

How to prepare:
1. Wash the mangos with soap and water. Peel the mangos carefully, with the help of an adult, cut them.
2. Put the mango in pieces, the milk, the sugar and the vanilla in the blender and liquefy until it is smooth. Put it in the refrigerator and drink it very cold.

Being an Indian i'm so pleased with the number of suggestions for our popular summer drink,Lassi.Peeled mango, banana, equal quantities of natural yogurt, & milk ,sugar & ice ,all together in a blender & you have your drink,a hint of cream floating on the surface is sinful but exotic.

Why don't you make the Indian drink Lasee. Yogurt, water, mango, almonds and a little sugar to taste.

Neither, use natural yoghurt... it's called a Lassi. Stick it blender in equal amounts and whizz, then top up with milk if too thick.
Enjoy!

Both will do good, you can also use coconut water or milk to add a nice taste to it

I would use milk, or coconut cream, and ice. Good luck!
