im working out 1 hr a way. weights, elliptical. and eating an apple and small bites of whatever for dinner and lots of water. and green tea. i am not anorexic. but need to lose 10 lbs or so for a wedding in three weeks. I will stick to this. please do not tell me it is not safe i know. but do u think this diet and exercise =lose weight?

Eat six small meals a day and you should be fine. Don't cut out too many carbs or your body will feel sluggish--people don't realize that they get their energy from carbs and the body needs carbs to survive.

Your workout routine sounds good; do light weights high reps (12-15) and high sets (3-4) to help tone--this way you won't bulk too much and gain weight instead. Keep up with the cardio and don't forget to change it up every once in awhile because your body will get use to it (stairstepper one day, treadmill another, elliptical the next) and make sure your in your target heart rate for at least 20 minutes.

to actually look like you have lost weight, and not gained muscle you need to do CARDIO CARDIO AND MORE CARDIO. running, biking, spinning, whatever akes you sweat and sweat and sweat... also, try wearing several layers of clothes while you do it, helps you sweat really good. also, only drink water, limit your green tea to one and a half cups a day or you can have adverse side effects ..trust me, read up on it, oprah just had a show about it... but yes in three weeks, if you do cardio one hour at leasst a day you should look great, also limit your calories to 1300, you need to eat them tho, or else your metabolism will slow dramaticly down and you wont lose anything past day 7.. good luck, and do this, trust me, i lost 20 pounds in a month exercies only 3 days a week like this, so... you can really do it in 3 weeks doing it everyday... just watch using the weights and stuff for now, focus only on cardio this month, then after the wedding or later this months add in a pilates type workout to develope , lenghthen and sculpt your msucle, good luck ♥

Why are you asking a silly question like this and telling people not to tell you it is not safe??? What do you expect people to say....oh yes, eating one apple a day and small bites of "whatever" for dinner is VERY safe and HEALTHY too! You will probably pass out from lack of food and nutrients in your body. You cant work out and or actually get out of bed with the food you listed. DAMAGE to your body is what you will do.

No. You will change your grease into muscle (not bad) but you won't lose weight.

Pay attention to the "whatevers", they can be the problem. If they are fruit or proteins that is fine, but if they are carbs from cereal or flours they won't let you lose weight.
