You can't really let go of a person. That person will be with you forever. I know that sounds crazy but it's true. You can heal yourself by just being buddies with this person , i mean truly Friends. I don't think that you should let go of your friendship. I find that it makes it easier to move on. You will eventually get over that person when time past. Don' worry I know how you feel. Try that Friend thing and see how it works.

Just do it.
and that can be hard.
If you don't have a good reason to let go then it will be harder. and in that case you should look for other options. But if you have a reason to let go then you should totally just use that to ease your mind. It will help you justify the hurt of losing this person if you know the reason that you must and you agree with it and accept it.
If you don't accept it then do something about it. what's the worst that will happen? lose them anyway?

Its hard to let go of someone that you love but you have to go move on, you can't dwell on the past relationship that didn't work. go out with your friends and when the right one comes along you will know, and not make the same mistake as you did before, good luck.

it's hard. many say watch sappy movies, eat lots of chocolates...but I say sit there and look at the pictures, read through the journals...after you've already written down why you're glad you broke up or whatever...and then sit there with nice music playing and think about how you can live with out this guy, plan out your next year. Still in school? Wanna go back to it? How about doing an upside down cleaning of your house, donating to charities, etc. It's all in the heart. Take care of it in your heart. You have to convince yourself to move on.

COLD TURKEY!
Best remedy - self discipline.
Remember: either the relationship was not good - there's a reason.
If he's no good - there's a reason.
All of the reasons mean that it wasn't meant to be.
Can't be upset over things you have no control over.
Good luck!

I know this can be hard I am actually going through this now..Try to keep yourself busy...join the gym...start talking to someone else that usually helps....try as hard as possible not to think...thinking is bad... before you know it you won't feel as sad anymore and you adapt...Only time heals!
