I am from WI and during the I have been using a lotions with cocoa butter & Shea.
Each evening before bed, I will just pour about a teaspoon of olive oil in one hand and add some sugar and use that to scrub my hands. Then I will coat my hands in vasoline and cover my hands with either cotton socks or cotton gloves for sleeping.
Sounds crazy I know but I have been doing it for years and I get compliments quite a bit on how nice my hands and nails are.
ps. stay away from lotions from with lots of alcohol like Bath & Body works products. Many of the scented lotions have a high alcohol content which is not good in winter

Jurlique day cream. It's heavier than any other lotion I've tried on my face but still feels light and somewhat dewy. I like it a lot because it works on my very dry skin. And I use Bath and body works body creams. They are heavy enough to moisturize yet not greasy. Good luck!

For my hands, Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands and Nails. It comes in a pink tube. For my feet and elbows, I use Vaseline Intensive Care Total Moisture, it comes in a yellowish tube. I like unscented Lubriderm for my legs, especially right after a shower. Also use a creamy body wash with a loofah in the shower, it really helps. Any of the Dove body washes are great, I like the Sensitive Skin one, it leaves my skin smooth with no tightness. Hope this helps.

Lot's of H,2,0 and a good moisturiser, don't forget the sunscreen when you go out remember to slip slop slap and put on your hat we did it as kid's and should still do it when we get older as it really does help, don't take your shower's too hot as this has a tendency to dry the skin out and use the moisturiser when you come out of the shower as your pores are more open and absorb it better

good products are from cetaphil, and cerave (a new brand), and aveeno. I work in the dermatology field, and I like those. the key is to put on lotion right after getting out of the shower, it locks in the moisture.

well if you suffer from really bad dry skin, use cetaphil, the cream kind, kind of pricey but it works really really really good and has no additivies so it will not in any way or form irritate your skin. you an find it at any walgreens or wherever. Also palmers cocoa butter is awesome as well, but i use that mainly in the summer. â¥

I'm using Renew Intensive Skin Therapy. It's made by Melaleuca. I love it. All skin types can use it. It's all natural, non-greasy and it smells great. It's a miracle in bottle.
