The life you will be given is the prize. First we must fulfill (Revelation) 16:16. May the world be ready for the second coming of the Son of Man.

What would cause you to think theire is a prize in the first place? Life simply is. We are part of it, we learn and grow within it. A prize is a reward given for some sort of exemplary behavior.
It's from our childhood experience. Adults don't need rewards anymore. Unless they are arrested in ther development for some reason.

In a sense, it is. I believe God spent a loooooong time creating you and I. Maybe as long as 14 billion years. But wait. I know there are things worse than death.
In 1974 I inadvertantly killed someone I worshipped, by NOT thinking. he was my older brother. I called him to a family fight. the guy had a gun. I didn't pull the trigger, but for thirty years I was a ship on a raging sea without a rudder. I now know he wasn't WORTHY of WORSHIP. to be worthy of worship, one must love me enough to die for me, AND KNOW me better than I know myself. I believe Christ fulfills both these criteria. Expecially considering he seems to have known our chemical makeup, carbon 12, 2,000 (666)BEFORE humans ever became biochemists.
The doctrine of the trinity, I believe came from his knowledge that a proton is 2 up quarks and one down. THERE MUST BE A HERARCHY IN NATURE, OR THERE IS NOTHING.
I also believe this may be why He was a carpenter. A tree is a trinity with one third cast down.
Also, I know for a fact, after being hit by a Mack truck on my bike, that time is truly subjective, and one's last second could stretch out for a looooong time. I fell off my bike in freaking SLOW MOTION! Somehow, one wants to be having fun on their deathbed, (time flies when having fun) in order to get through the worst pain. Believing in a loveing creator WORTHY OF WORSHIP can help one have fun. Kinda like a woman in labor looking forward to her child.
So many strange things have happened to me since I got hit by the truck, I must seriously consider that I may have gotten seriously injured, may in fact be in a coma now and YOU are just a figment of my imagination! But, the pain I feel is real, and to err on the side of love, I must ASSUME you are real and feel pain also. Love you silly humans.

I think that was the point of the rich man and Lazarus, story. The rich man was having his reward, now, in his earthly life, while the poor beggar lived a miserable earthly life. The beggar went to heaven, the rich man lived out his earthly life, indulging himself in every earthly pleasure, his heaven. He died, and went to the grave, and was not remembered in Gods sight.

I believe it is.

If christians revel in God in all of the gifts, miracles, natural laws God gave us in this life, I don't see why not REALLY see them as gifts and enjoy the life they were given as the prize. Instead of just heaven.

Then the contest must have been more than self-justifying in it's wonderful fantasticness. I can't imagine striving through something worse to struggle through this.

There is no "What if?" Read your Bible and you will see what the final reward really is.
