Try and eat lots throughout the day but less (little portions) at each time. Drinking a couple of glasses of cold water before you eat also helps you eat that much little apparently. It a psychological thing as well with what you eat so you need to reprogram your eating habits if that is the major problem. Eat fewer as possible processed foods as lots of ready made stuff have things like preservatives and unhealthy fats etc in them.
In between meals (small, but not miniature microscopic!, portions remember!) try and get your five fruits in as snack and rather than go for a bag of crisps or chocolate keep a pack of natural unprocessed nuts (i.e. not fried salted spiced etc). And most of your five a day veg portions will come from your afternoon and evening meals. You can enjoy choc as well but keep it for special treats during the week and make sure its the purest variety. Something that helped me is thinking about confectionary the way every1 around the globe, apart from Britain, does- what we call choc is actually candy and choc is the stuff with the high % of cocoa.
Program yourself to get into an eating routine that goes with your lifestyle- don't let eating run your lifestyle! maybe in the afternoon you can have a light meal like a healthy sandwich or salad- explore different flavors you don't need to keep it boring. So something simple to eat during the day and then make a little effort to cook a meal in the evening and it shouldn't take long as you would have eaten a lot of healthy foods throughout the day so you'll only need a smaller, but enough to be filling, portion.
Experiment with healthy snacks like at work they serve carrots or celery (both which I dislike on their own) but with a healthy dip can be good. And experiment with different ingredients and healthy cooking styles for the evening to keep things exciting to eat. And don't eat too late at night I think 7 is what is accepted by most healthy eating advisors.
And to compliment all this healthy eating effort it is absolutely necessary to take some form of exercise otherwise you won’t make a difference. you'll be healthy yes but if body toning or weight loss is also a goal then exercise is imperative. Doesn't have to be at the gym, it can be brisk walking for 30mins at some point in the day, doing strenuous chores around the house for 30mins, taking the stairs at work or while shopping. You can even get together with some friends to join aerobic classes. Anything that gets your heart pumping really.
I think I've said lots and I can go on but I think I got the main point across, and as you do have access to the internet look up healthy recipes and snack ideas you'll be surprised with the amount of results.
Anyway Good Luck!

Do not starve yourself... If u want to slim down quickly, try the special K cereal diet, eat 3 bowls a day, one for breakfsat, lunch, and dinner, drink alot of water, NO POP, VERY LITTLE JUICE, VERY LITTLE SUGAR, and at night, right after dinner drink a cup of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR. Apple cider vinegar can help some people's stomach constrict or tighten which is good appetite control, and apple cider might make u go to the bathroom but it is only cleaning u out, thats good and healthy. But just limit one cup every other day.Not the best tasting but it works. That plus exercise( cardio has the quickest results, walking, running, treadmill,,jumping jacks)should do it.

First thing to do is to run up and down the stairs as soon as you get up every morning, a healthy breakfast, running twice a week on the spot in front of the TV does wonders both physically and you can still see what is going on in your favourite programs. The next thing/s you have to do is to cut down on sweets which will also help your teeth. It's always best to walk a mile every day then to not walk one at all.

Doc put my husband on south beach diet, he swears by it. Cut out most of white carbs, and limit your calaries. Drink plenty of water and do tons of exersize. Eat in moderations but do not starve yourself or cut out meals because it will evenutually catch up to you and when you do eat you will gain all you have lost. I had my son 8 weeks ago weighing in at 185 befor birth and about 160 after. Im currently at 135 because of this ruitin it really helps and the exersize makes you feel so good and energized. Also allow yourself something sweet (a cookie or something) atleast once a week it can be a reward and as long as you dont over do it, it will not disrupt the weight loss. remember the biggest part is exersize and tons of water...Good luck.

I would definately recommend the special k diet. I lost 9 ponds in 2 weeks. It easy and doesn't make you feel ill. Just have 2 bowls and 1 meal each day. lternating is the best way to do it so you don't go mad having to eat special k every morning!

I know that you know the best thing to do...We all do.
It's keeping to the diet that is the BIG problem.
And when you lose the weight...The other BIG problem is keeping it off.
Good luck.
