We all know that we are a very important part of the society then why dont we have our own representatives to present our point of view in the government? I am not asking for power i am asking the government to lend me an ear.

Your elected representatives do represent you as well as people 18 years old and older.

All you have to do is contact them. They won't know how you feel about issues if you don't let them know. When I was 16, I started interning for my US Congressman in his district office in my hometown. I interned for him straight through college, and loved it. If you really want to get involved, then that would be a great way to do it.

Otherwise, just write a letter or send an e-mail to your representatives. You can find them on the internet at the websites below.

Because you can't vote. If you have something to say you certainly have more than enough tools to be heard. It just depends on how badly you want it. Start a petition, write your congressman, anything. Just don't expect to pull up a seat in the Senate or House.

We could if we had enough knoledge to be there, but its hard, theres a lot to learn, tons of strings to pull, favors to ask, connections needed. Not many people have accomplished that below 21. ♥ But we do need to stand up and let our voice be heard, and get more active and aware of whats going on in the government!!!! ♥

Write your congressman.

I'm serious about that, do not send an email, take the time to write a letter.

They hear. You have to speak.
