I've been taking Zoloft for several years. What it felt like after it started working is that I stopped having the feeling of living on the edge (frightening, scarey) so much and felt more calm.

I've been on zoloft now for about a week, and I've noticed a happier feeling, I don't feel as nervous about every little thing that happens to me and I have experienced some nausea at first but it has pretty much disappeared, also my pupils have dilated a few times but I figure it's just my body getting accustomed to the drug. Overall I've felt pretty tired, and I was a bit dizzy but that's normal for any SSRi, but as the days pass I'm starting to feel more energetic. So If you're looking into starting treatment with zoloft, I'd give you the go ahead, so far it's been a pretty good start for me, and it's kept my anxiety low. Good Luck.

I've been taking Zoloft for almost a year now and I just feel like my old self. There's no more anxiety, my stress level is lower. I really enjoy being myself again! The only side effect I have noticed is that sometimes I get tired. Not always, but sometimes. I read the paper that comes attached to the prescription thoroughly!! At times I can be a bit OCD, but I have noticed that the Zoloft takes care of that!
Good luck! Hopefully it will work well for you and you will feel like yourself again.

I've been taking Zoloft for 3 years now. And i LOVE IT! i feel like im back to my old self again. Im not depressed, i dont have anxiety as much. and when stressful situations come up, it helps me to cope with them better. I got off of it before just to take a break from it, and its not habbit forming at all. The only downside to it, is that you cant drink alcohol with it. ( just like many other anti depressants) But, i reccomend that you ask your doctor about it. For me, it worked wonders. Good Luck! :]

I have taken Zoloft for chronic stress disorder, caused by my previous job, for 5 years. Zoloft is good as it is not habit forming and one does not feel any abnormal effect, but when a stressful situation occurs it's much easier to tolerate. Just don't drink alcohol in excess as Zoloft with alcohol will cause blackouts and bizarre behavior.

Zoloft was kinda scray for me. I literally couldn't think of anything negative. It was kinda like I was stuck in "happy" mode. It worked though.

Hopefully it should help to lift any depression. I took it once and it made me quite tired though.
