It totally depends on what type of infection, the transfer rates for gonorrhea are different than HIV. It also depends on the gender, M-F is higher that F-M, M-M is higher than all, F-F has the lowest transfer rate.

As for exact percentages, you could try www.cdc.gov and do your own homework.

It depends on the disease, the type of unprotected sex, the degree of infection (say with HIV, upon the infected persons viral load), the condition of the person that is uninfected, possible other infections or conditions present...

It depends on the std. If it's syphilis, herpes, etc,. you have a good chance of catching it. The chances are greater when you have an open sore in the mouth, genitals.,. If you sleep with someone who has HIV the first time you sleep with the them the the chances of cathing it is small but if you have an open sore you might catch it quicker rather than someone who doesn't have one.
