My friend and I stopped talking 3 years ago. We had only known each other a few months but we really connected. We reunited last fall and we were cool for a few months. We went out a couple of weeks ago because she was moving. We were both really drunk and followed this dude home. We were hanging out with him and she said she wanted to go home so he dropped her off. He asked me if I wanted to stay at his place and I told him no because I had 3 hrs. to pick up my bf from work. I sped home and my car did a 360 on the highway. I could have died or hurt someone else. The next day she left a message asking for a phone she let me use back. I didn't call her back because I was upset she didn't ask if I was okay. I finally and told her I was tramatized. She sent me a message saying our friendship was over. I apologized for not being there to help her move and say goodbye, but ahe still won't talk to me anymore. Should I move on? BTW, I will never drink and drive again..I was WRONG FOR IT!!!!

Once she said your friendship is over I guess that's it.

hmm ... if u could not help her move, i think it is acceptable. its after all a favor asked from u. she should be more understanding. sounds like she is quite petty and it was a big issue to her. in any case, if she decides to end the friendship there is nothing much you can do about it.

a friendship takes 2 to work out. u can offer a friendship and form a bond. however, if the other person decides to let issues get in the way of friendship or even does not bother to make an effort to maintain the friendship and keep in contact, it cannot work out eventually. it is a mutual relationship, never one sided.

move on .... extend your friendship to others. u dont have to only have 1 friend but many.

How could she have known that you sped out and did a 360 on the highway? Did you tell her? Is she supposed to be psychic? Yes, move on. You've done what you can.

Hard to really understand your question. But, sounds like you need to just let go and move on. I would never beg someone to be friends with me. Either you want to or not. Plain and simple. Sounds like you weren't much of a friend (didn't help her pack and move..or whatever)...
Yes..take it from someone whos had a DUI in the past...it's stupid and it's wrong. Thank God you didn't hurt you or someone else. NEVER drink and drive...it's so not worth the risks....

you shuld definitely move on. she was wrong to do that to you. u could have been badly hurt!!! i would not really accept a friendship like that. that is not a true friend. move on and keep yourself open to new friends. be a good friend, too... i'm sure there is someone you can talk to!!

Well, if your BF let go of your friendship so easily, she wasn't that much of a friend to begin with. I definitely think that you should move on.....( A TRUE FRIEND IS ALWAYS GONNA BE YOUR FRIEND, NO MATTER WHAT )

You may as well move along...everyone else is already on the train that left before you got there.

Forget about it. Friends come and go. You'll make better friends who appreciate you and ask you if you are alright. You're wasting your time.

Oh yeah... DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!
