When I was 6 years old she left me with my dad and carried my sister who was 12 on a vacation.

When I was 23 and working my whole family and my sister and her husband went on a cruise and left me.

My mom carried my sister on vacation when she was 32 and left me

When I went on vacation with my mom and dad , everything she bought for me she also got for her son in law.

The other day my sister curse my mom when she went shopping with my dad overseas and told her that she is not treating her good although my mom bought her a lot of stuff and did not give her money, while i gave her money and was contented with mine, and my mom cried.

Now my mom want to go on a cruise and carry my sister, but she knows I cannot go now because I have work and school, she told me she would carry me when exams are over but now she is thinking about going early and leaving me.

Does she like my sister more?

What should I do?
I think i should not say anything and just live my life

I do think this has all the signs of favoritism. However, you sound quite independent, and your sister sounds spoiled. I went through something similar when I was young. For example, my older sister and brother would always take her car without asking and never got in trouble, I always asked, but was told no. I finally confronted my mom on the differences of her treatment. I didn't yell or scream or anything, but I did ask her why my brother and sister did anything they wanted, but I didn't get to. Her answer was strange to me back then but I think I understand a little more now. She said, "there's still hope for you." Basically, she says that I was independent and responsible, and she didn't want it ruined, and so she thought by being a little stricter with me, that I would have a better chance. She ended up being right. With my sister, to make a long story short, she went through heck in relationships and finding herself. My brother has been in out of jail for most of his life. Your mom may not realize it, but she may know that you love her, are responsible and mature. She may subconsciously be trying to get your sister to lover her more.

It may be easier for you to write a letter to your mother telling her how you feel and that you love her and want to have a good relationship with her. Try not to be accusatory and make her defensive. Just let her know how it makes you feel second best when she takes your sister on vacations and you feel left out of the family. It's not unusual for parents to feel closer to the same sex child. Mother and daughter have more in common, feel very comfortable together so can be closer than mother and son. Are you close to your dad and do a lot of things together? Maybe your mom feels you're closer to your dad and more comfortable spending time with him. Try not to keep score and enjoy the times you spend with your mother. Ask her to please wait to go on the cruise she's planning so the whole family can go together. If not, then ask her to take you on a cruise after exams are over for you two to get closer and have fun together. Good Luck!
