Its not a correct assumption that they dont like people of a certain colour as a Girlfriend/etc.
It depends totally on the person, If there is love, then it dosnt matter what colour you are ^_^
The discrimination by colour is only an induced effect on india, and is sort of a forign culture due to European counquests here, etc. In simple words, Most indians dont mind whatever the colour is, until the charecter of the girl/boy is good and...basically the person is a good person. External features are never primary.
But, there are some factions(kinds/types of people) who give some importanance to colour(No, NOT by race,etc). Its just that...people Relate "Ideal beauty to Fair skin.".
But there are lots of others who have the idea, "Ideal Beauty is in the heart, mind and soul. Its Never skin deep and never to be judged that way".
Try and find out what kind of person he is, if he is of the first type.(As in...if he belives "Ideal beauty = fair skin")....if he is of this type, then *Tsk* Tough luck dear, But dont worry... there are trillion other guys in the world*~ If your still adament about him, you can try asking him out or something but preferably its better u change and forget him(Assume him just to be a crush)
If he is of the 2nd type...the I suggest... "DONT STOP TILL YOU FEEL HIS LIPS WITH YOURS" ^__________^ (And All the best 'n' Be Safe~ ^.^")

I think indian guys and east asian girls are most common, if you live in south east asia, 5 out of 10 people have indian blood at least, 400 years ago or recent - take a look at countries try like indonesia, thailand, brunei, malaysia have places call "little indian" so don't curious if there are plenty of interracial between those two groups. I been to many countries in asia. I been lived in thailand many years and also went to japan - even in japan I saw a lot of pakistanis people that try hardly to get japanese wife for passport. those aren't act like arrogrant indians on this board and they don't care if asian girls look pretty or not, but they like "FAIR skin".

The unfortunate truth is that a overwhelming majority of Indian males have an aversion to black girls. They greatly prefer the fair ones. At least dusky. But black girls come at the bottom of their preferences. But dark girls do get married. Not all men think the same.

if you are good at heart, then forget like, he will love you. his expectations from you will not be high coz you are not indian. just talk to him sweet and he will fall right into you. when indians think black girls, they think serena williams or venus williams and think black girls are physically stronger and bigger than them. so be really gentle, tender and stuff like that...

I like you. Be yourself, anyone who wants u & not ur colour is not for u....I love women...dusky is my prefernce but like fair one equally. What would I do without you women?
FOrget about your colour...if he likes you he will approach you..be him an indain or any other race.
