Edit:
Never mind. I am going to stay out of this question.
They do help others, not just Muslims.
I am not Muslim, it is not fair to generalize.

Add,
Color me red. You learn something new everyday, and now I learn something new today.

I wanted to look up Muslim charities, and here is something I found. Muslim Charities in this site shows that the main focus is to help the Muslims. Several of them indicate it so.

http://www.msa-natl.org/resources/Relief_Orgs.html

example:
American Red Crescent, Inc.
"Focus to help the Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sudan, Egypt, Kashimir and Palestine. Planning free medical clinics in NJ, NY states."

Why would they focus on the Muslim when in those countries such as Palestine, India, and Egypt has a large number of Christians, would mention their focus on Muslims!!

this is the Red Cross
"it is the mission of the American Red Cross to be there and help those in need—whether disaster strikes thousands of people at once... or one family in the middle of the night."

Help those in Need. anyone.

To be objective.
When it comes to organization it seems the focus will be their own, but I know that when it comes to a one to one relations with Muslims they do help out. Maybe with the exception with the Jewish people. I don't think they will go out of their way to help them out, but I could be wrong with this one as well. maybe!

Y do Muslims care only for ppl of their religion on any part of the world, But don't help any non mUslims in Their region/locality?

This is why.
Because they are taught to take care of each others no matter what. Even those people who object to people like Osama Bin Laden! when it comes to outsiders! they will stand toghther, and that includes support and/or finanical aid to each other.
In Jordan, after 9/11, they wen into the street and celerated it by passing out desserts, danced in the streets as if it was a wedding. That was their feeling as many said it so.
But, when some of them did attack their own, in 2005 in a wedding and over 60 people died. They were outraged and rioted against any terrorist act.
They were not so out raged when it was non Muslims, although Muslims did die on 9/11, they were much more out raged when they were attacked by their own, and went into the street and rioted. Fact.

Peace to one and ALL.

You can actually say the same for many other religons as well. I don't think it's a religious practice, it's a personal choice. I don't care what religion a person is, if they need help I will give what I can.

FYI I have been cloned again. You can identify the real Terry G by looking at the profiles.

That's true.

At least the Christian charities just help people who need it.

Muslims only help muslims...

EDIT:

LEVIATHON: No, im afraid that isnt the point being made, read the authors question again.. He says "..only for ppl of their religion"..pfh.. and Im agreeing with him.

EDIT:

And for all those little teenage girls crying "no no, thats not right", im afraid it is, in fact it's worse.. In Birmingham the UK there is a large Muslim population, they along with all UK Muslim "communities" are renowned for only helping other Muslims. I see it every day kiddies so wake up.

READ "Maven"s POST, ITS ALL TRUE!!!!

CAPN EDIB :
Yeah yeah yeah, the Koran (Quran whatever) also says it's ok to kill someone if they are an "Infidel" i.e. a non Muslim...NEXT!!

Are you sure that Muslims don't care for non-muslims? Do you have evidence to prove that?

Good question - I've noticed this.

The vast majority of the money used to help Muslims in south east Asia after the Tsunami came from countries which were not predominantly Muslim.

They're disgusting hypocrites.

*I'makiller- they don't though! They don't help Muslims overseas. Thats the point thats being made.*

Hi, I'm a muslim and I help everyone indiscriminately.

But then SOME people started calling me a terrorist and claimed my religion is full of hatred and violence, when I get close to them they scream their lungs out. So...how do I help those people exactly?

Peace out.

Seriously though, I help and care for everyone.

Becoz you are a " WEIRED THINKER ", one should not expect appreciable normal question from you.

For your knowledge, if a Muslim doesn't help a person in need, he is not a muslim.

" Whosoever is kind to GOD'S CREATURES, Allah is kind to him."--The Quran

............and God's creatures are not only Muslims.

" Who is the most favoured of Allah ? He from whom greatest good comes to HIS CREATURES."--The Quran

..............and His creatures includes YOU also.

" Assist any person oppressed, WHETHER MUSLIM OR NON-MUSLIM." --Mohammad.

.................need clarification ??

" Make peace AMONG THEM with justice and act equitably, surely Allah loves those who act equitably."--The Quran [49:9]

.................clear ?

The Prophet (PBUH) has said: "He is NOT A BELIEVER who eats his fill when his NEIGHBOR beside him is hungry";

..................here neighbor doesn't mean a MUslim.

"HE DOES NOT BELIEVE whose neighbors are not safe from his injurious conduct ".--Muhammad.

...................need explanation ?

Does your religion believe in "BLAME GAME" ???
