Go to Microsoft.com and select the Downloads section. There is a patch to fix the computer for the change over.

In general, the computer companies will be providing updates to fix the days that DST changes so you won't have to do anything. Unfortunately, Microsoft has already announced that they won't be providing a DST update fix for Windows 2000, so if that's the system you're using, you're going to to have to manually adjust the time, or switch operating systems.

If you use internet explorer and to to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and have the scan search for CUSTOM updates, one of your choices will be "Update for Windows XP (KB928388)" This will "automatically adjust the computer clock on the correct date in 2007 due to revised Daylight Saving Time laws in many countries"

there is also "Update for Windows XP (KB929120)" which changes the clock specifically for West Australia (Perth) who is trying daylight savings for 3 years.
