Look to Jesus- and have faith in Him. When things happen that are beyond our control- Jesus is the only One that will see us through. Your faith must be in Him. Every time I try to trust myself, it never works- Faith is believing in the things that are not seen. May God bless you as you journey in faith.

Carpe Deum (I think the spelling is right)

Live for the day!

If you do that you place no expectations on yourself. If you are a good and intelligent person it would be good if you never expect the worse then no matter what happens will be a pleasant surprise!

If things happen literally beyond your control (and much what happens is actually within your control but that's another story!) then just go with it. It's only when you let things get you down, I should know, that you won't "be fine".

Just redefine "fine" to mean "where I'm proud enough to be". There's no more you can do!

"Faith" is the willful rejection of reason, you ignore reality and believe in something different ie. heaven, Miracles etc. Based on your question, it sounds like you are already an expert at faith. What you really need is to practice seeing reality, then all real values will follow ~Growth! When you practice faith, you are teaching your mind, thus your body to die.

Why should I have faith in myself? I have faith in the Creator! The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

Personally i believe in myself, not god. I believe that everyday i'll do the best i can to be a good person and help people who need it, and i'll also love my family and my fiance and try my hardest to live my life as good as possible. And if i do, I reward myself with a cookie ^_^

I have faith based on previous experiences. Such as I have faith that I will pass an exam because I studied for it. I do not like to use blind faith.. I am not superman.

If you overcome hardship in life you discover you possess depths that you never knew you had. I don't believe suffering is good but overcoming it gives one a lot of self belief.

Your eternity is a electrophysical fact and you will "always" exist in one form or another... the real question is what do you want to be like... while you are like you are right now, or tommorrow?!
