My cat is about 2 1/2 years old. I also have one more cat and a dog. She has been peeing on our bathroom rug and on clothes (if we leave them on the floor). She doesn't pee on our hardwood floor or the tile floor. I've already took her to the vet, and no urinary tract infection was found. Any one have any suggestions as to what I can do? We have already gotten another litter box (one for each cat), and it still hasn't worked.

There are several reasons why a cat would pee or poop in inappropriate places:
1. The litter box: it may not be clean (some cats are very fastidious); the texture or scent (for scented litters) of the litter filler is not to the cat's liking.
2. The cat has urinary, bladder or kidney issues. You need to have the vet check if there are underlying medical issues that is causing the cat to avoid using the litter box. Urinary track infection or stones or crystals in urine can cause pain when the cat is voiding. If this happens while the cat was in the liter box peeing, she may associate the box itself as the cuase of the pain and avoid that place.
3. Emotional. Stress and anxiety may trigger some cats to begin marking their territory with urine and feces. The presence of numerous pets in the den; the presence of a strange animal in the yard; children can all cause stress in some cats. Anti-stress products for cats like "Feliway" or those flower essences you can buy at the petshop designed for calming cats may help if the problem is emotional. These essences signal a "feel good" scent to the cat. Also, if the problem is emotional, give this cat a place she can call her own - a hide-away or bolt hole form the other pets (a closet, a big cardboard box under the bed, etc.). The point is to help make the cat feel less anxious.

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

Has your cat been fastened. Cats do this if the bypass into warmth. I actually have had cats for years and it is been my journey that they do this except you restoration them. Or, if which could no longer the challenge, she may be dissatisfied about something. Many cats do this even as they're dissatisfied. I had a lady cat that change into getting beat up with assistance from both boy cats and he or she began peeing on the rug. Later, after the lads were out of her existence, we not in any respect had that problem back. it may also be a good idea in case you shop your outfits in a bag or laundry basket even as dirty. shop the sparkling ones putting up or in drawers. merely shop them out of her direction to guard your outfits until eventually you hit upon the reply. shop the muddle field sparkling, cats hate dirty muddle. The clumping type is the most acceptable. shop more effective than one once you've extra cats. Is there a canines or different animal making her apprehensive? examine that out. Even a sparkling infant contained in the living house will dissatisfied a puppy.
