gogs? what's a gog? you mean dog??? The times a year she goes in to heat will decrease as she gets older, but no she won't experience anything like "menopause".

They sell canine progesterone kits, but I think it's a scam, because Wikipedia states that female dogs do not experience menopause, although their cycles might slow down or become less frequent. But I would imagine that each pregnancy takes it's toll, and can you imagine pumping out kids in your 50's (think dog years, now). If you're wondering whether to spay her, then I would say as long as you're not planning to use her for breeding, the kind thing to do is spay her. Plus, you won't have to deal with her "monthlies", which, as I remember, is pretty disgusting.

Not that I'm aware of. But it is dangerous and many problems arise for an older female to become pregnant. The risks are much higher, also, if you are to spay an older dog, so the sooner, the better.
