If used properly yes it can be very safe.. Wouldnt hurt for the chick to be on Birthcontrol or use some thing else like spermicides.. But Yes.. as long as its used correctly it should be pretty safe (long as your not using a 13 yr old rubber!) Since they wear after time.. so make sure they are 'newer'. GL!

using birth control does not affect a condom, and it is best to always use condoms whether protecting from pregnancy or STD's. As long as the condom is used properly there should be no problems

you can never be safe enoughwhile having sex...the best meathod is to yes use a condom but also have the girl use the pill or some other form of birth control as well to be safe...take it from someone who has become pregnant because of a broken condom.

My second child is proof that condoms are not 100% effective. Yes, it was on correctly and had a little room left in the tip. Don't know how they wiggled past, but some commando-super-sperm did it.

http://www.peelregion.ca/health/hsexual/htmfiles/bccondom.htm
The male condom is a protective barrier that fits over the penis during oral, vaginal or anal intercourse. The condom collects ejaculate, or pre-ejaculate (***/semen) and protects both partners from body fluids during intercourse. Therefore, condoms are useful for both preventing pregnancy (they are rated between 86.2% and 97.4% effective in preventing pregnancy) and protection against transmission of sexually transmitted infections. Some sexually transmitted infections (herpes, HPV or Human Papilloma Virus or warts) are passed through skin to skin contact so a condom will not provide protection.

I've used it for years and years without a problem. It should be safe enough but you still have to be careful.
