Well, when you shave, make sure u use a good shaving cream and not soap. this helps alot. Also don't irritate your skin too much but going over the same place too many times. the bubmps are common in shaving and your skin might be easily irrated. Also make sure you use alot of moisturizer after u shave this keeps your skin softer. About your thighs, shaving there is a huge mistake because those parts are extra sensitive and the hair may grow in. its better to wax because the entire hair grows back that way.
also, make sure you use a good sharp blade to get a clean shave. get a good razor as well.
for more help, you should see a dermatologist
:) good luck.

Its razor burn that's causing the bumps, to avoid it, soak your legs to soften the hair and use a good/new razor with a good moisturizing shave gel. Don't shave over the same area a lot either, this can irritate the skin. Use lotion with aloe or cocoa butter after you're out of the shower.
The back of my thighs are like that, instead of shaving up and down, shave side to side, that's what works for me.

Sounds like ingrown hairs, or dry skin. If it's dry skin, try moisturizing your legs a little while before you shave (wait until it's completely absorbed), and use a moisturizing shaving cream. If you have ingrown hairs, use a loofah or body scrub on your legs before you shave to eliminate the possibility of ingrowns. Putting on a mild moisturizer after shaving will help both problems (make sure it's mild and free of too many additives, or your skin will sting like a you-know-what). Good luck!

try a men's aftershave lotion or gel for the bumps - cool water's (some others too) has that "metrosexual" smell that actually just smells like good soap.
If the hair on your thighs isn't that visible, i just wouldn't bother shaving there. if it is, try shaving sideways up towards the front of your thigh or downward toward your knee. i actually have to do a little of both to do a really good job on that part of my leg.

Those cheap razors do that to me too. You may have to get a slightly more expensive razor with better blades. For example those Bic razors chop me to pieces, but Gillette works well for me. Try different ones, and use shave cream, or shave gel instead of soap, and use lotion afterwords.

use a new razor and good shaving cream. i use the mach 3 and mens shaving cream. i never ever get razor burn. then while your legs are still wet, moisturize with baby oil. pat dray. you can actually use the baby oil all over. do it before you get out of the shower.

I use Co-Co butter lotion! You need to replace the moister in your skin. Use a good quality shave cream not soap.

i get this sometimes too, make sure your razor is really sharp and then put hydrocortisone cream on any bumps. (the equate brand at walmart is ridiculously cheap and works well)
