Find a person that shares your hobbies, sports and social circles. People lie about their situations, true friends will not ask you for anything, they enjoy your conversation and invite you to hang out. If you are unhappy, write down what makes you unhappy and a method to fix the problem, it is known as self help. Change where you hangout, the people around you and ideas, you can find new friends, then mix them every other week so you have choices.

Try to work out what would make you happy, possibly with the help of friends or counselling, and then go out and achieve those goals.

V odd question - surely the question should be: I am unhappy, what can I do?

What does being rich have to do with happiness?

Strange. I'd rather be "rich and unhappy" than "poor and unhappy". You just need to find someone or something you like and care about. With money, you have lots of options. Go travel around and find something you like. Spend some of your money and try something you enjoy. But without money, you don't have that option. So go spend some money and find youself. Good luck and enjoy your money ;)

It's a perfect example that money doesn't bring happiness. But having money is a great advantage. While everybody is working hard to earn some money, you have it already! What makes you unhappy? Are you single? Try focus on your other needs, your family, feelings, hobby, people. Maybe helping others will make you feel happier.

Put your money to one side and try to live a simple life.
I am not rich 'nor am I poor but live a very happy life, maybe the challanges of work and the worry of paying bills are a distraction.
Remember money cant buy you happiness.
Put some money away and pretend its not there, just keep enough to pay your mortgage and a months worth of bills, then get a job (just enough to survive) and see if things brighten up.
I would love to be rich but if it means changing what I've got, no thanks.
Good luck!!

Get a voluntary job working in some area that you feel attracted. Maybe you could drive patients home from hospital, be a voluntary hospital worker. You could work with the elderly. You could go to India and set up an operation to feed the poor and give shelter to homeless children. You wouldn't be unhappy then.

If you are very rich and a scot like me and you are telling the truth, you could do your good deed of the day by helping me out to get my home adapted for home dialysis. I am £25,000 short of what the disabled facility grant gives. I am genuine are you? read my profile and in a lot of my lettersmy disabilities are mentioned. have suffered a heck of a lot of illnesses and disabilities since my nan died in 1989. So if you are who you are, then do your good deed for the day, as I said I am a fellow Scot and I am genuinly in financial need only for adaptions and to bring my home up to scratch to make sure it is sterile as I will be dialysing via a kidney machine, I have a back boiler which draws lods of dust ninto the house, my wife is constantly hoovering. So if your genuine, go on do your good deed may be not for the day but for a lifetime. Jimmy Scottish gentleman living now in Essex England.

Ps I know that you will get a lot of idiots acting as if they were like me, however if you are genuine I can prove to you that I am who I am and that I do suffer all the illnesses etc that I say, I can give places to contact to confirm all this, I am talking about hospitals etc.

If Your serious and being happy isn't happening for you then think about what you don't have. When you have every thing and still you feel empty it's a good time to have a talk w/ Jesus and get in touch w/your spiritual side. Then he could be your guide and you won't need to ask us this question. Money isn't every thing, the joy of sharing is a blessing. Find the time and space so you can be humble and ask Your God what his will is for you. No doubt your a good person , just try it.

Well you know that saying; 'Money makes the world go round, but doesn't make you happy' ? This is abviously the case for youself. What do you want to do to be happy? What steps can you take? How can you embrace life and feel all emotions?

Put your money aside.....you dont have to have it. Focus on you, not what your money can get you, because I'll tell you straight, your money will bring you sadness, rudeness, unloyal people, false firends and lonliness.

I hope you can think about this and take the appropriate steps to enchance your life.

Stop dwelling on the fact that you are rich. I bet you have never lifted a finger in your life, go out into the real world and do something amazing and then you may find happiness come a knocking.
