It's not Yahoo!'s responsibility to fix the poverty problem.
It is everyone's responsibility...what do you do to help? Everyone assumes that because a company is successful, it should be obligated to fix the world's problems. Try organizing a local event to help in your community. The biggest differences are made by regular people. If people would help those in their own communities, then poverty in the US would resolve itself.

Corporations do not recieve the same benefit in taxes for donation and they have board members to curtail what the donate too. So this is an impossibility.

I don't agree.

Yahoo has it's own accountants that handle where money goes, and they know their job better than any of us.
