God loves you no matter what your belief is so you do not have to be blessed to know that God loves you. He blesses you for living your life the way he has taught.
Gods blessings come in many different forms. Blessings for the man on the street may be someone giving him a dollar for a hot cup of coffee. Blessings for you may be a lot of extra money to blow.
But remember that Satan blesses also, usually in exchange for something that you can not redeem back.

God loves all his children. Everyone gets blessings. Most people who are right with God and themselves sees their blessings. The bum may get a warm meal and warm shelter for a night or two. That may be seen as a blessing to him. He may find some shoes or a little money. Some medium class people may work hard and give alot and in return have a financial deal come through and be blessed with a profitable and great company. They may have the money then to help a very sick loved one. That loved one may survive because God and them made it so.
I have seen some very wealthy people not right with God in my eyes profit financially and have wonderfully supportive family. What does this person do to deserve such blessings I wondered while I am a very good and understanding person yet had only one family member, my son, and was broke living with a drunken lost soul. blessed was I to have a roof over my head and my son to love and love me back.
Nobody can judge anothers blessings or whether they deserve them. Our lives are in GODS hands. Everything happens for a reason. Thats my lengthy belief. lol

Do you believe what is written? Not everyone is a millionaire or is suppose to be a millionaire. Money is not he ltimate sign that someone is being Blessed. Finances is just one area in life. Paul said, that he knew great abundance and he knew want (or lack) but he key to joy was being content in whatever situation he was in. As for the bum on the street, it is hard to say. Did the ravages of sin put him there? Is he a derelict and mentally incapable of doing better or is he just a bum. If he is "just a bum" the first step to meaningful change is coming to the knowledge that you need to change and want to change. Confession comes before conversion.

first of all, blessings are often difficult to see; that bum on the street might have some blessing beneath his raggedy clothes
so even if one doesn't FEEL blessed, they should know that God loves them ( and everyone) and that everything that happens, God allows/causes.
everything is a blessing in disguise..if you deal with it in the right way..

Whether God chooses to bless you or not is independent on whether or not he loves you. But then again, a blessing can be merely a matter of preception. Consider yourself blessed to be alive. God loves everybody and he doesn't hate you. God hates sin, not the sinner, so if you sinned, he wouldn't hate you anyway.

It is "presumptuous" to assume to know if the bum on the street has been blessed. We are all here on earth to be tested and the circumstances that we face in our lives are many times due to our own decisions. Just because I am poor in material things does not mean I have not been blessed. I have been hungry at times, I have been cold, scared, picked on, and even hurt. I have lived in a tool shed, a gutted trailer, a camper, and a tent. but the Lord has always been with me and comforted me through it. I am still here and providing for my family thanks to the Lord for that. God's blessings are always available to us. First, we have to ask for them and second, we have to recognize them when we receive them. Don't ask the Lord for a mansion to keep the wind off you when he has provided you with a cave that will keep you safe and dry.

being alive is a blessing. having food, water is a blessing. your car not breaking down is a blessing. having problems is a blessing (they bring you closer to God). having a jog is a blessing. being healthy is a blessing. having freedom is a blessing. being able to walk is a blessing. etc. etc.
If God blesses even those who don't love him but truly hate him, just look at large business and entertainers the are very wealthy and are very outspoken about hating God...I am not super wealthy but I am very blessed with Love and peace in my heart.
