HUH???
WHO is asking you to convert to Islam? NO ONE (no Muslim, at least) has ANY right to tell you to convert.
The Quran clearly states:
"Let there be no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower" (Qur'an 2:256).
As for the killings done by some Muslims, I don't understand how you anti-Islamic people tend to judge Islam based on how some of its followers practice it!!! HOW unfair, how unwise, how ignorant! If you MUST judge it, why not do so based on how its GOOD and faithful and well-educated followers follow it, huh?
Islam doesn't permit terrorism; there's no such thing as WARS in Islam EXCEPT in cases of oppression and self-defense, ok? Meaning, God doesn't allow us to fight wars in hopes of territorial expansions, etc.
And how can you ignore what's happened with other religions, killing others in the name of God???!!! The Quran does NOT believe in killing others in the name of God, ok? I wouldn't doubt it if other Books do, but the Quran doesn't.
I'm sick of saying this. If you disagree and are interested, visit the links below with an open mind and open heart; maybe you'll learn something.
Peace and blessings be upon you!

Depends on the mosque. For Eid there were a ton who wore it and ripped it off the second they were done praying. I don't have a problem personally with the fact that they don't wear it but it looked horrible the way they acted afterwards...and on EID we all celebrate at the mosque together. Women would wear a big Abaya and then rip it off to basically prance around and show off their stuff after the prayer. This is not just my judgment, it is what many of them will admit too. So many people show up...and ...well...they think it's a possible way to meet somebody for marriage. A couple of times on EID I saw women not wear hijab at all and depending on the mosque community they could very well be harassed. PPL can claim to be anything they want. Many Muslim women I have known have not worn hijab at one time or another. When I first converted I didn't wear it all the time. I'm a convert so the way ppl react is kinda weird. If I say salaam they are suspicious...but if an Arab did this and didn't wear hijab they are usually quite warm with her. Yes, hijab is in Christianity as well -- just look at the nuns, the Amish etc...Jews too... "Anything is possible"as they say but I think you are just trying to look for a way out of a practice of Islam. I could be wrong though. Best of luck to you. :)

Muslims fired 4,000 Katyusha rockets into Northern Israel killing over 50 innocent civilians and you want me to convert?
awww. poor jews, they killed 1000 muslim Civillians in Lebanon with airstrikes and cluster anti personel bombs.
Are you saying that these people represent muslims as a whole?
if so you are wrong, the US and other Christians have killed many thousands, many times more than fanatics have.

Oh yeah, blame the religion when some lunatic blows up somewhere.
Throughout history, billions of people have been murdered by Christians/Muslims/Atheists/Buddhists/Hindu/others. Why bother having a religion at all?
It's all media coverage, MEDIA COVERAGE!!!
Peace out.

These radical muslim extremists that cause these acts of terrorism have a "Convert or die" philosophy. They want people to convert, but are going about it in the wrong way. But yes, I do see your point, it doesn't make a very convicing arguement to kill people then demand your conversion.
I'll stick with Christianity, thank you.
I want a golden badge with the word "Infidel" (or however it's spelled) on it. ^_^

Terrorism has NO RELGION u count what .. I wonder if u count what Christians did not even now but also in history... i believe in my heart it is not related to true Christianity as i believe what is happing from who call them Muslims not real Islam.. if Islam invite to Terrorism i will be the first who left Islam... but I'm not and i will not .... in the end try to ignore what u heard this day about terrorism and try to read more about Islam from really trusted books ... I'm not asking u to convert to Islam .. I'm asking u to read and read and find out the truth .... yes I'm asking u to find out truth... the truth is out there ... u will find it if u seek for it.

Jesus said plainly "you shall know them by their fruit. A good tree produces good fruit and a bad tree bad" sounds like bad fruit to me
the things most central to Biblical salvation are
1) the adoption of believers as God's children and 2) reconciliation through the work of Jesus on the cross
in these regards the Koran in speaking from a different spirit and in opposition to the Biblical witness.

Who asked you to convert to Islam? I converted by choice.
Not to mention that all the above terroristic acts that you listed above were done by Shi'a radicals. Not all of us want to kill the rest of the world, so please don't generalize the actions of an entire religion based on the acts of a few.

No one is asking you to convert, it is strictly your choice. Research Christianity... are you sure you want to be a Christian either? They have a blemished record also.
