I had the exact same thing ( the acid feeling) and what it was was a tooth growing in the roof of my mouth! It just hadn't dropped down yet! It's a semi common thing! Your doctor will remove it through surgery! Mine took a day.

Maybe you have thrush mouth.

Thrush can make the mouth so sensitive that it is impossible to perform regular oral hygiene. Use a very soft toothbrush. It can often help to rinse the mouth with a diluted solution of 3 per cent hydrogen peroxide.

If whatever caused the thrush can be brought under control, the infection is likely to go away after a few days of treatment with a fungicide.

Go to your doctor, sounds like a sinus infection has got out of hand, and maybe formed an abcess or puss pocket. is your breath horrible? even if this isnt correct the doctor will be able to correctly diagnose the problem.dont mess around and wait it out ,cause an infection of any kind in your head can become deadly. I had an uncle die from an abcess in his mouth that turned septic (blood poison)so call now.
