If symbolically, you might be moving (if the bird flies out), or you'll hear good news (because it flies). It depends what signs and symbols represent in your family. If it gets hurt, it might mean that something bad might happen, if you help it get out and it won't get hurt, that means you will get some kind of help. You might be in need of some kind of help right now. Good luck.

If a bird flies through your house, it indicates important news. If it can't get out, the news will be death.
Depending on which type of it it could also mean different things..

That depends on what kind of bird it is. If its a canary that might mean you like birds as pets. If its a vulture, that is another matter! ;)

Personal Experience:
One fine day, there was a bird in my room, I screamed, screamed & screamed to death, it was only after my shouts subsided & I heard my brother's hearty laugh, I realized : It was my brother's prank to scare me ;)
Then, he fed the bird & released him(the bird's role was over right!! so...)

The poor thing will probably kill itself, trying to get out . . .
Leave a door open, and stay out, for as long as you can - until the poor critter 'finds' it's way out. . .
Good luck - hope it survives. . .
