There must a virus in the copy for which ur installation the setup
try from any other copy from us friends and install the setup new setup will nevr be infected with virus,

after comleting the setup first install the anti virus software and then install the other files and software for programs

clean setup without virus will go good, update all the software

the lsass file is the system file and it works abnormally due to crupption most probabbly u r using win xp sp1
this problem comes when an unsigned driver is installed or some files are downloaded from internet and this becomes faulty

it is better u use win xp sp2 or sp3 which is loaded with high security packs and flexible to these type of problems

yep sounds like defo worm blaster you will have to go into safe mode and access the internet in order to download the patch, as your pc will shutdown in 30secs otherwise when you access the internet. there is another way round but if you are not sure about what to do just get the patch, otherwise go to start, right click on my computer, left click on manage, left click on services and applications, left click on services then in then right hand pane scroll down looking for remote procedure call (RPC) and remote procedure locator (RPC) i will call them 1 and 2. number 1 should be 'started' and 'automatic' and number 2 should only have 'manual' in other words not started

I think you have a worm. It affects users on Windows XP. You may not have updated your PC lately. You will need to get the patch and install it. I think it was called the blaster worm or something from what I remember.

Thats only a hunch from what you'vve said. google it and see if what you see adds up
