That depends on the context it is used in. I rarely hear the word from the average Christian, But some Christian's are not average, many take there role as people who are supposed to give reasons for their faith seriously so if the question sounds really intelligent I assume a Christian apologist is speaking.

None, my fundamental beliefs dictate that I know the person before judging them. I refuse to steriotype somebody/something, as it leads to unnecessary strife.

Theists don't call themselves that - just a Christian or Muslim etc.
