I believe it was its own enumeration district, within Westminster, portions being in the civil registration districts of St. George Hanover Square, St Margaret Westminster, and Chelsea. Check the London Metropolitan Archives website leaflets for further informtion, or the GENUKI website for Middlesex as they also have information on civil registration districts (links below).

I admit I'm guessing somewhat.

Try Westminster,or Chelsea. County I think was Middlesex (before the Greater London Council / GLC was set up).
