If that is Continential KC, don't waste your money. It is a FAKE registry. Might as well make up your own registration papers on toilet paper.
No one should sell you a 6 weekd old pup. They need to be with the mom and littermates for 8 weeks.
Any breeder that registers with a FAKE registry and sell puppies at 6 weeks is a BYB.

The Continential KC registers ANYTHING. People who cannot register with the AKC register with the CKC so that they can sell "registered" puppies. TO register a dog, all you need to do is send in a few pictures to "prove" that the dog is pure. Who really know what dog is in the pictures!!!! Could be the neighbors dog, could be a DEAD dog!!! They do not care, they just want the money!!! That is why the pet stores use that registry!!! No real questions asked!!!!
The AKC has it's problems, but at least the parents have to be registered to register the litter. There is a better chance you are getting what you paid for!!!!!

"heathen"...NO KIDDING!!!! Did you NOT see where I SPECIFICALLY stated CONTINENTIAL KC??????? I have Canadian KC registered dogs and am fully aware that it is a real and recognized registry. That being said, MOST people posting about CKC are infact talking about the Continentail KC, which IS a fake and made up registry.

There is a legitmate organization called the

CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB

which registers dogs. Let's try to remember that the whole world does not actually revolve around the US.

First shots are usually given at 6, 9 and 12 weeks of age. Usually a responsible breeder won't let their puppies go to new homes before 8 weeks of age. Since you have a very young puppy, you should be talking to your vet to advise on care.
