According to the Bible, Islam is not a divine religion. And the reason I say that is because the God of the Bible is not the Allah of Islam. Secondly, the Quran contradicts in very plain words the commandments and the words of the Bible. Finally, Mohammed doesn't have the qualifications of a true prophet. The Bible is very clear in the book of Hebrews Chapter 1. "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son," if God has sent His son to speak to humanity, it's not reasonable, that He would send a slave after Jesus to be the "last prophet." If we go to the Bible and we want to apply Christianity and Islam, we can say emphatically that Islam is not a divine religion.

The Bible: Hebrews Chapter 1:1-4

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

You have nailed it...If Allah is not the God of the Bible or the God of Abraham then they have a problem and obviously he is not this God. The best a Muslim can do is pretend that all previous words of God through scripture and prophets are corrupt and that God is not a righteous God but one that simply overlooks sin as long as you repent and do some good deeds...This proves he is not the God of Abraham nor the Bible and yet he says he is...The answer to this is obvious to those who know God..unfortunately Muslims base there faith on the writings of Muhammad and have rejected God in favor of the Qu'ran.

No, islam is not 'the only true religion'. There are in fact no true religions, and atheism, which is not a religion, is actually the correct religious viewpoint. >All the buildings in the town except this one were destroyed and the mosque was untouched. Does this divine message mean i have been worshipping the wrong god. So you call it a 'divine message'? Interesting. I for one call it a 'coincidence'. If Allah really exists, and really wants people to worship him, then he could just as easily fire an enormous laser out of the sky above our heads and carve the words 'Allah exists' into a few dozen square kilometers of Siberian tundra. Now THAT would be a rather convincing divine message. But simply having a mosque survive a tsunami? All that means is that one, the mosque was lucky, and/or two, the mosque was built to better withstand the forces of a tsunami than the surrounding buildings were. In any case, the very fact of the tsunami and its enormous death toll in the first place pretty much precludes the existence of a benevolent deity anyway, don't you think? Seriously. Get a sense of perspective here.

to U7w21i1ol:
yes, the God of the Bible is the God of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Issac, Jesus, David etc. So the question is: if this is the same God of the old testament that you are saying is the same one of the Quran, why did muslims change thier God?

Muslims, for the most part hate Jews & Christians alike (as it is taught & commanded to do, by the Quran), but the God of the old testament, was the God of the Hebrews - not the Muslims. The only link to the them is when Abraham had an illigitimate child with the woman from another land. That child is the only, yet still significant, link to Abraham & God. So in essence, according to the Bible, Quran and you, the Muslim nation came from the relationship that should never have been.

Of course Islam is NOT a divine religion according to the Bible, silly! If it was, then Christians wouldn't be Christians, you know?
But like it or not, Islam IS a divine Religion. The way that women are portrayed in the Bible is just ONE proof that the Bible doesn't teach divinity.
If you wanna know what I mean about this women thing, then you may wanna go to this link and see for yourself.

A note to Keiichi, umm... yeah, Muhammad (pbuh) wasn't able to read or write. Muslims (or he, Muhammad, himself) NEVER denied that.
This was a fulfillment of a prophesy mentioned in the Bible, which is:
The Book of Isaiah, 29:12:
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
Hmm.... Understood?

I really laugh at the ignorance of those who continue trying to discredit Islam. Don't you know you ignorants that Christians in the Arab countries call their god ALLAH?! And that they say Jesus is Allah?!

Now where the heck did you get the name God? Or Dieu?!!!

Yes, you are not worshipping ALLAH properly. This is why you are infidels. ALLAH is the creator of Jesus, and Jesus was a messenger from ALLAH. Muhammad (PBUH) was also a messenger from ALLAH.

As for trying to disprove the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH) because your corrupted Bible says too much blasphemy regarding our creator, will this makes sense; yet you are the losers in the end.

When you enter into discussions like this, please try knowing what you're saying, because actually, you're like a group of drunkards discussing theology...Hey, don't drink and Mass!!!!

Islam didn't exist when the early church was arbitrarily deciding which New Testament books were "divine".

Nor did it exist when nomadic tribes wandering around the desert were creating the Torah.

I agree with you, it is not.

As for the post ahead of me.....

Christianity is a term. You won't find this word in the Bible. The term was and is used to define a belief. Gentiles couldn't claim to be Jewish......understand now??

isn't that the same thing the jewish says about Jesus and christianity? life repeat itself. read the old-testimony and u will know that Allah is your God.

bro, if your God is the one who created Adam and Eve, Abraham, Moses, David, Issac, Jesus, then that's Allah who we are worshiping. peace.

Qu'ran points out itself that it is a book of lies.

Hadith 1:1 - The Prophet replied, "I do not know how to read, Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but again I replied, 'I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?'

Either Gabriel was not the real Angel from God who did not know Muhammad could not read (IQRA means READ). Or Muhammad is not a real phophet lieing repeatly to Gabriel that he could not read.
