theres a host of interesting research in this area of late actually.. for example if you eat a protein rich meal you'll feel full for longer, and if you add a glass of water to a meal and blend it all up into a soup-like meal, it'll make you feel fuller for longer too (whereas just drinking water before a meal dosnt actually make a difference as it passes through the stomach too quickly).

the portion and plate size also affects how much you eat..bigger portions will tempt people to eat around 40% more than smaller ones, so smaller plates which limit portion size are always a top idea. dairy products also get slated a fair bit in the dieting world, but their high calcium content actually doubles the amount of fat excreted (and not digested) by the body!

one study was carried out in which 18 people ate only various fast foods and so on and took in 6000 calories a day. early results are quite profound..some people put on the maximum allowed weight in just 2 weeks (of 15% their total mass) whereas some people actually didnt put on much at all..one man only gained 4.5kilos in a month of this and half of that was muscle! this highlights a difference in peoples ability to cope with excess food. (jus thought that was interesting!)

take onboard some of this advice and you should be able to lose weight while not having to feel hungry more often and so on. in fact, other research has shown that when people are hungry their body actually stores more fat than normal when you eat because it assumes a shortage of food.

But I assume you want to lose weight without starving.
Well, it won't be easy but start by eating 4-6 meals a day. small portions and you should be satisfied but not full. EAT SLOW!
It takes the brain 21 minutes to catch up to the stomach.
Focus on better food choices and try to go to bed on an almost empty stomach. NOT EASY TO GET USED TO!!!
but effective.
After a week or two, you will be accustomed to it and you will feel better and have more energy. You will also look great!

Try Weight Watchers! That is a GREAT program. If you cannot do that, then just eat small portions. Portions of meat should be the size of your palm and no bigger. If you dont put lots of butter on your veggies you can eat as much of them as you like. You can go to the weight watchers website to get more info!

well, here are some tips that work for me:
1. no pop, just give it up
2. no more fast food, and stay away from fried stuff altogether
3. eat smaller and don't have many snacks
4. make what you do eat healthy
5. exercise regularly

Well, you can't lose weight in a healthy manner without exercising, but cutting out processed foods in favor of more natural (as in less processed, real food, fruits, veggies, grains, not stuff like "All-Natural" soda, you dig?) foods will help.
