I've had pretty good luck buying on line but you really have to be careful if it seems like a really good buy.Sometimes the items are refurbished.Make sure you use a credit card or paypal. That way if something does go wrong ,you'll be able to recover what money you spent.Beware of rebates.I have been burned by companies that won't honor rebates.Lastly see if there are any customer reviews about this company.I bought from TigerDirect received the item, sent in the rebate and nothing.Went on line afterward and found out I wasn't the only one ripped off.You might run a goggle search to see what pops up.There are good deals to be had.You just have to be careful. Good luck.

You also need to be careful that the lens you buy is digital compatible, a lot (not all) of the lenses used in the 35mm EOS film cameras are not compatible with digital format and there are unscrupulous dealers will tell you that they are compatible.
