I think its just about the same. Honey has 1600 calories to the pound and Sugar has 1800 calories to the pound. Honey is not any better for you than sugar. Both are good sweeteners. On weight watchers it doesn't matter what I use, I get the same diet points.

Why don't you try Splenda? It's calorie free and made with sugar. Honey and sugar are both carbs and burn the same way in your body. Honey makes your heart beat increase and is not a good idea for folks with heart problems. It also has bacteria that sugar doesn't have.

You shouldnt be consuming too much sugar. Its acidic and cause harm to your body. Buy a stevia extracted sugar instead.
Honey is high in calories, and even though there isnt much health complications, it can cause tooth decay. Take a look at honey bears. They are the only animals that has tooth problems.

Honey can harbor a lot of disease and is susceptible to carrying bacteria, however it does have an infitinite shelf life, that is, it does not "rot". Sugar in a natural form has more health advantages over refined sugar, but of course it does not taste as good and few people can grow sugar beets in their backyards organically. Overall, I prefer sugar because honey is bee vomitus and I don't like to eat puke.

Honey is more herbal and has less side effects than sugar. Honey has far more advantages than sugar which is primarly filled up with calories. Honey on the other hand has many curative properties like reducing the fat in our body and also increasing the digestion of our body for gaining weight. That is the same honey is used for gaining weight and also losing weight. Next taking honey 1 teaspoon everyday will build up enough resistance on your body to combat any infectious diseases which is not found in the normal sugar. Next the brain power is very much increased for people who consume 1 teaspoon of honey everyday than people who consume 1 or more teaspoon of sugar. The honey is less harmful to diabetics than the same quantity of sugar consumed. Finally honey is more tasty than sugar and is always available in liquid form than sugar which is always crystal. ( do not consider crystal honey)

Honey is just like sugar high in calories. Taking it in moderation will not harm you and it does have more of a nutritional value then sugar alone does.

There's no difference from a diet perspective, but natural sugar (honey) is much better for you than refined sugar.

they are the same, but honey might be a tad worse, don't let the health wackos try to fool you. In fact some of them were giving honey to their babies and they found out that was not good for any baby to eat. Makes you wonder why we have it on the shelf at all.
