If my boyfriend doesnt text me back for a while i get really nervous, i know he's not cheating on me but it really gets to me and i dont know why!? does anyone else ever feel like this?

Don't pressure him to communicate with you every minute. That will drive him crazy, and he'll wind up breaking up with you. Guys prefer women who don't act like they're insecure.

I've been with my boyfriend for three years so if he doesn't text back immediately it doesn't really bother me. Sometimes it goes unnoticed, depending on what we are talking about. I do get anxious if he says something that makes me wonder and then it seems like it takes forever for him to reply, even though it only takes like ten minutes. I will sit there and constantly look at my phone like what the heck. Or what I hate is when I ask him a question and need an answer like ASAP and he doesn't text back for a while.

You get anxious because i think you are insecure, or you want to know what he is up to. I do the same thing, if i text and i don't get one back, it bothers me, why! because i feel insecure, cause when he texts me, he expects the same back, well anyway just relax, i have started doing that, and sometimes if he texts don't text him back straight away, and see what he says.

No!!! relax you are going to give your self a heart attack.
Just slow down, some people text alot some dont.
Just enjoy your self... Imagine what it was like for us 30 somethings before the joy of texting on mobile phones!!

Don't worry mine does exactly the same, and it used to drive me nuts so now I've just come to the conclusion that men have just got this I'll do it in a little while syndrome, and really don't see it as a problem so i don't think hes cheating on you hes just like most fellas just do things in their own time.

You need to relax a bit girl! Bring the ball back in your court and dont text him first! Chill out and be relaxed on when you text him and whether you bother texting him back! He'll soon come running! x

I often do as well, but nowadays i just put it down to him either not hearing the message, not having credit etc etc. I used to bite my nails when he didnt text back yet i wished they would grow back after he'd texted me half an hour later saying he was in the bath! lol.

ya I do too. I don't think he's cheating on me ethier...but when he dosn't answer my text's back right away all the worst thoughts flood into my head...I thought he was mad at me last nght and I think i mad him mad by being so parinoid...I think we both need to relax a bit. But I'm just letting you know your not the only one.

Waiting for texts can be agonising so don't text. just call him when you need to. If he mentions it tell him tell him its cos he doesn't bother to get back to you rather than what its like for you waiting for the reply.
