Well if you see it as a waste of time, theres no point.
If someone were to buy me anything for valentines I'd want them to buy it out of love - because they wanted to get me a gift and spend time with me. The same reason I buy anyone a gift, its not to get something back - its because I enjoy giving and making someone smile.
If for you its a waste of time and money, you obviously havent met anyone you really care about yet.

It is a mutual thing. I would want you to spend time with me but a gift is not necessary. I would just like a card or something small that tells me that you love me. This makes me feel wonderful and it is not the amount of money you spend but in the time invested to get you what you would like. I would also do the same. I would listen to what you have told me and get something small that you would like as well.

You personally? Thanks, but really no thanks.
Any guy who thinks its a 'waste of money' to show a little more love on one special day of the year wouldnt get a thing from me.
My boyfriend knows its the thought he puts into a gift rather than the amount of money he's spent on it!

No they don't. You should waste it on that guy you've been eying up. C'mon...we all know you are gay or you wouldn't try to over-act like such a smug, self centered guy.
Guys like you just try to undermine the hetero-male just to make those of us that respect women, look bad. Don't expect respect until you have some.

Nothing, for you give only to give and not receive. You give out of love not selfishness, this question is a major turn off for girls, you don't sound mature enough yet.
