If you have the files and only need the program try OpenOffice. It is freeware by Sun Micro and will open, edit and save any MS Office format back to MS Office 4.5 (Pre-'95). You can also dreate .pdf files.

If you don't have the install CD's the only real legal options are to buy MS Office again or as the first answer states download the programs at www.openoffice.org

This suite of programs is free and has programs that are compatible with Word, Excel, Power Point and some other program which I don't recall off hand.

openoffice will allow you to create/open/edit/save documents in the MS Office formats. It's worth your time to check it out. We've use it our small business and love it.
