Normally, the tax deadline is April 15th.
But, this year, the 15th falls on a Sunday, and there is a holiday in Washington, D.C. on the following Monday.
So, the Internal Revenue Service has extended its deadline to April 17th. Your federal taxes must be postmarked before midnight on the 17th.
Most states are also extending their deadlines, but you should check with your state tax department to be sure.
I hope you get a nice refund.

If you are getting a refund, you should file as soon as possible. If you owe money, prepare your taxes now, but wait until closer to the deadline to file, but don't wait until the last minute unless you like being stressed out.

When I feel like I want to do it...but I have to do it and I will. Taxes are soooooooooo bored and I don't know why if the IRS already knows your information and how much you've earned they make us fill out taxes anyways just to botter. If you give a wrong/fake information on any of the tax forms, they'll know it and will make it a big deal, that means that THEY ALREADY KNOW all that. don't botter! However, I don't have anything against the tax-process.
