Use Adobe Photoshop CS 2, it's difficult to get quality without paying something, but if you want to have low quality editing you can use mspaint. mspaint can make white background, you just brush the background with white brush (hope your object is not complicated). Or you can use adobe photoshop trial version (30 days) I think it's enough for you to edit it, right? But editing using adobe require more skill and knowledge about the program. If you have difficulties, just e-mail or IM me, i'm glad to help.

Do mean mean there's a "independent" history? as an occasion a white, black or dark gray history? Or do you mean that there is extremely no history at the back of the item, so as which you will place the image on a cyber web website, with out having to verify a sq. or oblong history. In different words, the history of the image is the actually colour of the website the image is on? If the 1st one, you could merely use a white or black bedsheet or you may get some thicker cloth from a cloth keep. There are additionally businesses that make backgrounds for expert photographers. in case you mean the 2d state of affairs, the photographs are many times saved as a GIF record. The GIF format enables a "sparkling" or "no colour" history. maximum image modifying application enables this.

I have to agree with Megasparks0101. Photoshop CS2 is probably the best, but it's a little bit expensive.

UPDATE: Oh, and GIMP is good too. It's opensource (opensource = free) and close to the quality of Photoshop.
