The only way to lose weight is to calculate calories in versus calories out. To lose 2 pounds a week, you must cut 1000 calories a day through diet, exercise, or both.

First of all you need to eliminate any type of soda and caffine. You need to drink lots of water! You want to eat 5-6 small meals per day. This will keep your matabilism up. You will want to alternate cardio exercise with weight/strength training. When you know you are going to be working out you will want to increase your protien intake. You will want to consume 120 grams to help your muscles grow and heal. You will want to evaluate your calorie intake (however I disagree with the person who said eliminate 1000 cal per day.) You will have to find out what your calorie deficit is.
How to Lose Weight by Calorie Counting
First you need to work out how many calories you need each day to maintain your weight. For women, this averages around 2000, for men around 2500 (more if you are very over weight, very muscular - or very tall!). To lose weight you need to create a calorie deficit by consuming fewer calories than you burn. If you eat 500 calories less than you need each day you'll lose weight at the rate of one pound a week. If you eat 1,000 calories less than you need each day you'll lose two pounds each week. Your body will have to turn to its fat stores to make up your calorie deficit. It's recommended that you combine exercise (burning more calories) with healthy eating to create a calorie deficit.

Hope this helps!
Chris

the basics worked for mer excercise should be your priority and eat whatever you want in small portions. also try to have six meals a day rather than 3 basic meals (i.e brkfst, lunch & supper)
it may take time but weight loss will be more permanent and once you get used to your meal timings, it will be easier for you to maintina your wieght once you've lost the extra kilos
