There is nothing that will necessariy hurt your dog, just nothing that is very good for them. Like other posters said, it will cause him to put on weight quicker, not very good for his teeth, and since hes not use to getting the higher protein and fat content it could cause pancreatitis (vomiting/diarrhea). Best not to let him eat it.

NEVER feed your dog garlic or onions in any variety; they cause anemia in animals. Old cat food will not cause worms, the only way to get worms is to come into contact with worm infested stool or soil.

I would try putting the cats food up off the floor. Cats food contains many things dogs food does not. Not healthy for her at all.

Also make sure your dog food does not contain corn, beef, wheat, by product or fillers. As those things are hard for the dogs to digest.

At her age she needs to be on Senior dog food. I would recommend putting her on Natures Recipe Senior for small dogs. As this is an all natural food and has small pieces which is easier for her to chew. Natures Recipe cuts down on shedding, bad breath and the amount of stool produced.

Also since she is so picky you can mix a small amount of canola oil and garlic powder on her food. For some reason dogs love the mix and will scarf it right up.

Not that I am aware of. However, there is a problem with letting your dog eat old cat food - she may develope worms. Also, she will get more plaque. It is also not good for your dog to be stealing food - instead, feed her alittle kitty stew as a treat.

Remember to give her a crunchy treat to remove all that gunk or she'll soon have teeth problems.

Cat food has more calories than dog food, because a cat's metabolism is higher. It will make your chi. fat. Check with your vet, your dog should really eat dog food, not cat food.
