Hmm....
Marilyn...for sure. Because I would totally hope she'd open up to me, and tell me who was better hung....Bobby or Jack Kennedy.
And I would have loved to hang out with her...I mean, DiMaggio...gah! And all the other super hot swanky Hollywood types.
And we'd be having so much fun having a good time...prank calling Jackie O...and walking on sidewalks with the steam rising so we can push our skirts down.
And she'd love embracing her wildside, and would so not want to off herself.
Yeah...definitely Marilyn, roadie.

I did a report on Marilyn Monroe and on Elvis (among others) in college. Marilyn Monroe was a fascinating model...absolutely beautiful. She didn't actually live a "promising" (if that's the word) life though. She kind of became famous by having a bad reputation, actually. Howard Hughes or Elvis??? Now that's a hard one. Elvis, at one point in time, said that he would give anything if the spirit of God would call him back and witness to him the way that it once had. And it probably would have given Elvis would have been consistent, sincere, and patient. Nevertheless...Elvis had a natural magnetism about him. Everyone, but everyone loved him. He made some beautiful gospel albums while he was living. I'm sure God could've used him to have a major impact on the world. So I would have to say Elvis.

By the last week of thier lives it was too late to save the life of any of these famous people.. The only one who might be savable is Elvis who could have been saved by a decent diet and some stool softeners. But no one had stood up to him in years and would he listen to you ? Who knows.
Howard Hughes was mentally incapacitated and unreachable in any way.
Marilyn was murdered by some of the most powerful people in the entire world and the events leading up to it were already in place before the week you talk about.

Elvis and Mr. Hughes, was do to Ego's Huge Ego's. Marily Monroes' problem was that she didn't like Stardom, once she got thee. I'm not actually buying into the suicide thing with her. There's enough suspicions to at least be doubtful.

Marilyn Monroe. Just to become her significant other and show her happiness and take her away from it all.

I admire the three of them so its hard to choose one. But I'm a huge fan of Marylin's movies and songs so I'd prolly go with saving her. It would also be nice if she teachs me a little something. I'm str8 btw, hah.
