You need to address that habits that are causing you to gain weight, not just going "on" and "off" diets. Start small, and focus on the habit. Start off by not drinking your calories, then build from there. Work on the habits... when you get them established, the weight will come off.

Get yourself a support system. When you are tempted to cheat, you will need a gameplan to keep yourself on track. Good luck! There are no gimics... it is will power, and that is not always the easiest thing to get.

i really don't believe in these "fad" diets. Im a firm believer in the eating healty and excersing. I don't think you have to kill yourself with the excersing but really u can't just lay around all day and expect something to come off...lol...my whole life i have flucuated up and down with my weight. i get in these moods where i can't get enough food and other times where i can look at food and it makes me sick. The only good advice i can give u is to eat in moderation. eat when ur hungry and stop when ur full. eating really fast is a big no no because it takes the stomach i think 20 min to tell ur brain its full. I have come to know that if you drink a lot of coke, or any kinda of "soda" stopping that or greatly reducing what u intake helps more than anything. coke puts on more pounds than u think. I have found that diets low in fat help me more than anything. i can take in tons of calories with less fat say 20 to 25 grams a day helped take the weight off......

a friend of mine lives by the weight watchers point system. u can eat anything really but again in moderation and u have a certin amount of points daily that u can have.

good luck! don't give up, soon enough u will find something that works for you!:)

diets are a bad cycle, you are telling your body to hord calories when you do start eating again and if the calories are not burned they go to fat. Yuck i know
you are better off to increase your activity level.
start by getting one of those pedometers and just start walking, park in the last row at the shopping center and walk in. Take the stairs insted of the elevator, escalator. You get the idea, and add sports you liked when you were young, a few days a week to start, like basketball, tennis, biking, swimming, jumping on a trampoline, jumping rope, what every you loved doing as a kid. I find if i enjoy myself in a work out i am more likely to keep the activity weekly. As for diet i have a sweet tooth so i allow myself to have a cookie every now and then, if i deprive i tend to go excessive and have more than a portion size. I guess just eat whole grains, fruits and veggies, low fat dairy, a lean protein sorce with each meal, limit red meat, lots of fluids, and this includes juice, milk and water( i prefer ice water, your body burns calories to warm up the water for use). I also eat my meals at home on a smaller plate to be aware of portion sizes. Also don't eat 4 hours before bedtime. Brush your teeth after dinner and thats that, just drink water during this time. Start taking a multivitamin if your not already.
Keep in mind it takes two weeks to get use to (playing) working out again. It also takes two weeks to get out of the habit of playing, so if you get off the cycle for a week no big deal just jump back in the next week. Oh and jot your playtime on the calender to see your progress over the months. Have fun getting fit, Mind-Body and Soul!
Blessings!

Also include more of green leafy vegetable in your diet. Drink lots of luke warm water during the day, this will burn the fat.
You can also try Trifala, which is a combination of Anwala, Harad and Baheda. Boil trifala in two glass of water, when the liquid reduces to half the quantity, let it cool. Add 1 tsp. of lemon juice to it. Consume this liquid at bedtime. Do this twice a month.

You answered your own question. You have to stop cheating and start exercising. That's really the only way. You know why you can't lose weight, and you know what you have to do to lose weight. You just have to do it. No answer you get on here is going to change that.

Join a gym and USE the membership. Join up with weight watchers (right now they have free registration). Do one at a time so you are not overwhelmed with it. Start with either one first and then once you get the swing of it, a couple weeks later start the other.
